VOLCOM ANNUAL REPORT

This annual report reflects Volcom’s brand in both its existing style and the elements the company wishes to portray more thoroughly. The deliverable is a combination of Volcom’s current brand aesthetic as well as more personal additions to provide new insight, displaying statistics and reports for the company. The research found the current company uses heavy graphics and illustrations combined with collage work and photography. Bold and hand-drawn headlines are paired with simple body copy. Tactic research explored dye cuts, current surf magazines, and 8.5” by 11” sizing. The report’s composition included a playful and youthful design to cater to a young and active target audience. The collages are bold and busy to stick with the current design style of the brand. The captions and descriptions on the collages are chunky and hand-drawn to add personalization.
